Once you've claimed your ref rewards, type ::progress. This is the single most important command for new players — it walks you through six tasks that get your account ready for mid and late-game content, with rewards at every step.

Unlocking Bosses

New bosses need to be unlocked before you can teleport to them.

Click the globe icon (or press Ctrl + T) to open the teleport interface. Switch to the Bosses tab, select the boss you want to unlock, and click teleport — you'll be charged the unlock cost. Keep the gold either in your money pouch or your inventory before clicking.

Voting is the easiest daily income on CryptX, and the Voting Board is where the real prize sits. Open it with ::voteboard to see your monthly progress and every reward tier.

You can vote every 12 hours, and each vote checks off a slot on the board. Climb the tiers and you'll claim treasure keys, release boxes, tokens, and more — all on top of your standard vote drops.

The COMPLETE ALL Reward — BIS Cosmetic

Hit every slot on the Voting Board for the month and you unlock the COMPLETE ALL tier. The headline reward is the BIS Cosmetic Item — and here's the kicker:

Locking this in every month is one of the highest-value time investments on the server — nothing else gives you a guaranteed BIS slot for free.

Foraging is the custom CryptX skill that unlocks AoE (Area of Effect) damage. AoE is huge — it's the difference between killing one mob at a time and clearing a whole pack with a single hit.

Head to the Home Area and look for the bushes scattered around. Click them to gather berries, then use a berry on a Vial of Water to craft an AoE potion.

Vials of water cost 1 GP each at the Herblore Shop. Click the Herblore skill icon to teleport straight there.

Crystallization is the custom skill that crafts DR and DDR damage shards — serious upgrades to your combat output.

Requirement: Level 60 Hunter. Once you're there, head to ::shops and pick up a Magma Net.

Travel to the Crystallization Zone (skill teleport) and hunt Magma Imps for Magma. Bring an axe too — the Ice Trees in the zone drop Ice Shards, your second core ingredient.

Once you've gathered both, head to the Crystallization Fountain in the centre of the zone. Combine your materials to craft cut gems, then use a chisel on the cut gems to refine them into shards for combat.

Every so often, a server-wide message announces that Ancient Relics have been discovered. These are world events that spawn at random locations across the map.

The relics appear as golden statues in different cities. Move fast — only the first three players to find each statue get to loot it.

Click the statue when you find it to claim your reward instantly. Quick to participate, surprisingly profitable, and a fun break from steady grinding.

Level Prayer by collecting bones from the bosses you kill.

Click the Prayer skill icon to teleport directly to the altar at home. Use your bones on the altar and choose "X" or "All" to offer them.

To unlock Curses, right-click the altar, select Switch Prayer, and pick the Cursed Book.

Slayer Masters

Once you've cleared your ::progress tasks, you're ready for Slayer.

Click the Slayer skill icon to open the interface and pick a Slayer Master. Each master assigns a boss or monster to defeat for XP, rewards, and account progression.

Block / Unblock Slayer Tasks

Bosses you don't want to grind can be blocked from your task pool.

Teleport to ::slayer and click the Slayer Task Board to see every available boss. Hit Block next to any boss you want to skip. Changed your mind? Open the Blocked tab in the top-left and click Unblock.

Slayer Panel — Your Grinding Companion

The Slayer Panel shows everything you need at a glance:

• Active Slayer Master, current task, task amount remaining
• Current task streak & ultimate task streak
• Task Teleport — jump straight to the boss
• Master Teleport — jump back to the slayer master
• Request New Task & Start Instance

The Quest tab is your in-game dashboard. Five tabs cover everything you'll need.

Want a boss to yourself? Instances let you fight without competing for kills.

• Open the instance interface by clicking a ticket or pressing Ctrl + I
• Pick the boss you want to fight from the list

Spawn Sizes

• 1×1 — one boss at a time. Easiest, ideal for learning
• 2×2 — two at once. More challenging, faster loot
• 4×4 — four at once. Hardest, but the fastest kill rate when you're geared

Pick your boss, pick your size, click Start — and the instance is yours.

Dissolving is one of the most consistent early income methods on CryptX. Instead of letting unwanted drops clog your bank, convert them straight into value.

• Open your inventory with the item to dissolve
• Hold Shift and left-click the item
• A confirmation message shows in your chat box — double-check it before confirming
• Once confirmed, the item converts to currency or rewards based on its value and rarity

Pets

Killing bosses gives you a chance to unlock unique boss pets. Pets aren't just cosmetic — they grant combat bonuses like increased damage and improved drop rates depending on which one you have active.

Type ::pets to open a full pet interface showing every pet, the boss that drops it, and the kill requirement to unlock it.

Items Database

Type ::items for a complete in-game database of every weapon, armour piece, and tradeable in CryptX. Compare stats side-by-side, plan your next upgrade, and pick which boss to grind next.

Upgrading

The Upgrading skill is the alternative path to better gear. Instead of waiting on rare drops, sink materials and resources into upgrading what you already own. Especially valuable for new players still working towards higher-tier bosses.

Season Pass

The Season Pass rewards you with valuable items and bonuses as you level it up. You need either a Silver or Gold Season Pass claimed before you start gaining XP.

• Silver — free, claim with ::freesp. Open to every player.
• Gold — premium, available in the Donation Shop. Bigger rewards, extra benefits.
