Foraging Skill
The custom CryptX skill that unlocks Area of Effect (AoE) damage. Hit multiple targets at once, clear packs in seconds, and turn berries into one of the cleanest money-makers in the game.
Why AoE Matters
- Faster kills on Slayer tasks and dense mob clusters
- More drops per hour, especially on bosses with minions
- Smoother early-game while you build your gear
Getting Started
Head to the Home Area — bushes are scattered across the map.
- Click a bush to gather berries
- Each click rewards berries used for potion crafting
- After roughly 100 picks, the bush depletes and respawns somewhere new
This keeps Foraging active — you'll need to move around the map to keep gathering.
Berry Tiers & AoE Range
Each berry crafts a potion with a different AoE radius. Higher tiers cover much larger areas.
Crafting AoE Potions
- Grab a Vial of Water from the Herblore Shop — 1 GP each
- Use a berry on the vial to create the matching AoE potion
Click the Herblore skill icon to teleport straight to the shop. Ironman accounts can pick vials up from the Ironman Shop at ::home.
Using AoE Potions
- Potions stack in your inventory
- Drink multiple at once to extend the duration
- While active, your attacks hit every target in the AoE radius
Essential for Slayer grinds, mob farming, and bossing rooms with adds.
Economy & Profit
Foraging isn't just for combat — it's one of the cleanest money-makers for new accounts.
- Berries are tradeable
- Crafted potions sell at a premium
- No high-level requirements to start
Sell raw berries for fast cash, or craft them into potions and supply players hunting AoE for PvM.
