The holidays have officially arrived in the lands of Vale! The chill wind carries the scent of pine and eggnog, and a thick blanket of snow now covers the home base. Santa Claus has descended upon our world, and he knows exactly who has been Naughty or Nice.

This massive update brings a complete festive makeover, a challenging new quest, essential Quality of Life improvements, and a huge batch of bug fixes to ensure your Christmas grinding is as smooth as possible.

🎁 Part I: New Holiday Content & Events

Get ready to celebrate with new features that will change the way you skill, fight, and experience the holiday season in Vale!

The Christmas Questline & Festive Zone

Santa's Arrival: Santa Claus has appeared at ::home! He needs your help with a special quest to track down a few well-known Elves. These Elves are so tricky they even got rid of their minimap tracker, so you better make a list and check it twice! 

Festive Store & Weapons: Santa will sell intriguing PvP weapons and Festive Christmas Crackers.

Christmas PvP Zone: A new Christmas-themed PvP zone has been added for seasonal skirmishes and token farming. Special weapons have been designed for use in this zone ranging from Tier 1 to Tier 3. While you can only attack other players with these weapons, Tier 3 comes with a Special surprise. 

Upgrading Christmas Weapons

 Upgradable by Right Clicking and selecting Upgrade for Snow Tokens!

Snow Token Activities

Farmable Snow Tokens: Brave the Wildy with a Pickaxe or Hatchet to Mine Snow Tokens or Chop them from the Festive Trees.

Personal Snow Dragon Boss: Summon a personal Snow Dragon boss (attack-able only with the 3 tiers of Christmas weapons) within the new PvP zone to earn valuable Snow Tokens.

AFK Snow Coins

 After Completing the Christmas Event, and Voting you are able to Click on the various piles of Snow at ::home to Collect Snow Tokens at a rate of 2 Tokens per Minute for 6 Consecutive Hours.

Sledding around!

This New Christmas Sled can be Obtained from the Rune Christmas Cracker! Right clicking this object in your inventory will allow you to Re-Texture from Red to Green and Vice-Versa!

New Cosmetics: A Jolly Cosmetic has been added to Santa's Shop.

Game-Changing Skilling Gear

We’re introducing new gear designed specifically to reward active skilling:

3-Piece Skilling Outfits (Hood, Cape, Amulet): These sets are now available for almost all skills: Farming, Firemaking, Cooking, Smithing, Hunter, Fletching, Crafting, Runecrafting, Thieving, Agility, Herblore, Mining, Fishing, and Woodcutting.

Set Bonuses:

Each piece gives a 3% chance to x5 your Adventure Log task progression.

Wearing all 3 pieces grants a 15% chance to x5 Adventure Log task progression.

Wearing all 3 pieces grants 20% increased skill XP specific to the set you are wearing.

Acquisition: A dedicated Skilling Shop has been added to buy the Skilling Set pieces.

Skilling Tickets: You now have a 10% chance to acquire Skilling Tickets upon any skilling action performed.

💎 Part II: Quality of Life (QoL) & Shop Updates

We’ve made several improvements to streamline your day-to-day gameplay:

Bank Dissolve

Enable this mode by clicking the Fire Icon in your bank ! Once activated, click any item with a dissolve price to dissolve the stack for its dissolve price. The coins will be automatically added to your coin pouch upon dissolving and the bank spot will be removed that item was maintaining. To exit this mode, simply click on the icon again.
 

Horde Ticket Dissolve

Items purchased from the Horde Ticket Shop now will show the Dissolve Value and be Dissolvable.

Option to Disable Glow Effect

::glow can now be used to disable the Christmas Glow Effects to help with players susceptible to Epileptic Seizures

Shop Quantity Boost: Potion and Consumable quantities in the Boss Point Shop, as well as general Skilling items in the shops, have all been massively increased from 100K to 100 Million.

Dissolve Prices now Shown in reward UI

Invasion Timer Reduction: The Invasion Minigame countdown timer has been reduced to 10 seconds for faster instance starts.

Dedicated Fishing: Separate Harpoons are now available that will only fish up Sharks, Manta Rays, and Swordfish.

Perk Notifications Toggle: The option to turn off perk notifications has been added to the Options tab.

 Boss Spawns: Moderators and up will now be able to spawn everyone Global Bosses for server-wide events.

Donator Shop Additions: The Vengeance Shield and Vengeance Cape have been added to the Donator Shop.

Adventure Scroll Clarity: Adventure Scrolls now have a dialogue box explaining how to properly use them when Left Clicked.

Visual Flair: Bonds are now much more Festive. 

New Mining Resources: Silver mining nodes have been added to the Mining Guild.

Item Cleanup (Removed): The following dust items have been permanently removed from the game: Invasion, umbral, Spectral, Draconic, and Elite Dust. Instead you will receive coins in the Caskets that contained them previously.
Christmas Coll Logs: Complete the Collection Logs for the Christmas Crackers to receive 500 additional Christmas Crackers

🛠️ Part III: Core Bug Fixes

A significant amount of time was spent crushing bugs to stabilize the late-game experience and ensure consistency across the board:

Late Game Caskets now correctly drop loot other than Accessories.

Fixed not being able to attack in the Global Boss Spawn Area.

Quiver of Death no longer procs on Global Bosses.

All Global Bosses now have the correct health points.

Potions and Consumables now correctly display a timer and are no longer infinite.

Overload potion Timer now counts down correctly.

Fixed Vengeance Sword and Vengeance Staff not giving the correct bonus stats.

2x Kill Count perk (Blood Pact) is now correctly giving x2 KC when triggered.

All levels of perks now receive the XP they were supposed to give.

Perk Experience will now be gained again from medium Slayer Tasks.

Fixed the Slayer Master giving you a task you have previously blocked.

Adventure Log short cut (Ctrl-A) has been fixed.

Completing Adventure tasks VIA Valenium now triggers the correct one instead of the lowest tier.

Overlapping instances should no longer appear.

Bronze Bolts no longer log you out when crafting them in the Mining Guild.

You can no longer Teleport to strange lands with the Kingly Cape equipped.

XP Lamps now gives the correct 75k experience as stated.
